From Germany into the world

Kim Tinnemeyer

Hey, I’m Kim. Born and raised in Meppen in the quiet Emsland region of northern Germany. Via Bremen, Düsseldorf and Cologne, life eventually pulled me further afield — and for over 7 years now, I’ve been living in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.

My passion for design and technology found its perfect outlet in web design and development. And I’ve always been fascinated by how processes can be optimised and automated — today, with AI more than ever.

Outside of work, I like to keep things active and varied — whether that’s on the padel court, riding through the mountains of Thailand, or exploring new countries and cultures.

That curiosity and broad perspective feed directly into my work. I get up to speed with new industries and business models quickly — and that’s exactly what my clients value.

Working together is fully remote — just like collaborating with a partner in another city.

We’re available for calls during morning hours Berlin time. And the 5–6 hour time difference actually works in your favour: requests you send the evening before get worked on while you sleep. By the time you’re at your desk in the morning, the solution is often already waiting for you.

We work in the ICT time zone (UTC+7) — that’s 5–6 hours ahead of Berlin. For calls and meetings, we’re available during morning hours Berlin time. For everything else: reach out whenever it suits you. We typically respond within a few hours. And thanks to the time difference, we often start working on your tasks before the working day has even begun in Germany.

We talk about it — openly and straight away. Every project is broken down into clear milestones that we define together. Regular updates mean you always know exactly where things stand.

If requirements shift or something isn’t working, we adjust the plan and communicate transparently about what that means for timeline and budget. No surprises, no radio silence — that’s our promise.

Simple and straightforward: you’ll receive a proper invoice that you can submit to your tax office as usual. The invoice is issued without VAT — the reverse charge mechanism applies, which your accountant will be familiar with. Payment is made by SEPA transfer to our European account. In short: no different from working with any other European service provider.
